Which area to stay in São Miguel?
The island of São Miguel has the size of the metropolitan area of a large city, the roads are good, and the attractions are spread across the entire island. In some places you are closer to certain points of interest, and in other places, to others. Therefore, the location is not very relevant, but it is advisable to avoid the centre of Ponta Delgada, because access there is difficult during rush hours.
